We had a wonderful Cardigan Bay coastal walk yesterday in the sun and came home to our holiday cottages and took photos of butterflies sun bathing. The forecast for the next 3 days in West Wales is for sunshine and warm weather.

West Wales Coastal path walking: Beaches packed on a sunny day

Today we completed our 13th walk, a 4 mile circular walk starting and finishing at The National Trust beach at Mwnt, near Cardigan in West Wales. We took the photo of a crowded Mwnt beach whilst enjoying an ice cream at the café after our walk.

This was our last night’s dinner. Cardigan Bay has lots of sea food on offer in local restaurants and fish mongers. World class crabs, sea bass and lobsters are available ...Cardigan Bay’s superb marine wildlife.

Farmhouse holiday cottage guestbook: 4 people + 4 dogs

A great stay in The Farmhouse (holiday cottage). A lovely location with a great pub (5 mins). Dogs had a great time in the field, on the beaches and in the forest.

Coastal walking with the dogs: enjoying West Wales sunshine.

A coastal walk from Aberporth. After Julie’s replacement wrist surgery 3 weeks ago this was the first time she had felt ready for a walk so we took it gently a 3 mile round trip to Tresaith for lunch.

Sea kayaking: Holiday cottage West Wales

On Tuesday evening Mick went off sea kayaking from Gwbert near Cardigan and went up and around Cardigan Island. It was lovely in the evening sunshine with the seals. West Wales has some of the best coastal scenery in the world. See photo
