Sea kayaking:  Holiday cottage Wales

It has been a lovely sunny week here in West Wales, we had a barbeque (the nesting redstarts have left it) and so did our holiday cottage guests. 

All three cottages are full again this week.  One guest went sea fishing yesterday and caught lots of dog fish, a couple of mackerel and a huss, At least that is what I think it said it was, in any case it was big and ugly.

Another set of holiday cottage guests went of to New Quay earlier in the week and had a great time sea kayaking with Cardigan Bay Water sports. Link for details http://www.cardiganbaywatersports.org.uk/.

On Tuesday evening Mick went off sea kayaking from Gwbert near Cardigan and went up and around Cardigan Island.  It was lovely in the evening sunshine and the seals were out and about.

West Wales has some of the best coastal scenery in the world and sea kayaking is one of the best ways to appreciate it.  See photo.
