Coastal walking with the dogs: enjoying West Wales sunshine.
After yesterday’s rain today was a nice day in rural West Wales.
So holiday cottage owners Mick & Julie jumped in the car and 30 minutes later were setting out on a coastal walk from Aberporth.
After Julie’s replacement wrist surgery 3 weeks ago this was the first time she had felt ready for a walk so we took it gently a 3 mile round trip to Tresaith for lunch.
It’s a dog friendly off lead walk so our 2 dogs really enjoyed their first walk in a little while.
Aberporth is a lovely unspoilt seaside resort with two sandy beaches.
The scenery along the coastal path was great with views of Tresaith with its beach and waterfall, our destination, and Penbryn the next beach along.
After a nice lunch overlooking the beach at Tresaith’s Ship Inn we had a leisurely walk back to Aberporth.
It was good to get out walking with the dogs again.
