West Wales seafood, plenty available near holiday cottage, Cardigan Bay
This was our last night’s dinner. Cardigan Bay has lots of sea food on offer in local restaurants and fish mongers. World class crabs, sea bass and lobsters are available but sadly most of the local catch is exported to Spain!
The Cardigan Bay seafood festival takes place in nearby Aberaeron each July.
The crab in the photo was from a scuba diving trip, by holiday cottage owner Mick yesterday. Aside from returning with supper, a great sunny day was enjoyed during the boat ride and the diving, with seals in close attendance, gave another perspective on Cardigan Bay’s superb marine wildlife.
