The Cothi Valley, Carmarthenshire
The River Cothi flows southwest from the eastern side of Cambrian Mountains into Carmarthenshire and provides excellent fly fishing.
The upper valley is part of the Dolaucothi Estate, which is owned by the National Trust and incorporates the site of the Dolaucothi Roman Gold Mines. Here it is a beautiful rural valley and passes through the village of Cwrt-y-Cadno.
The River Cothi crosses the main A482 road at Pumsaint and passes close to Talley Abbey.
The lower part of The Cothi River flows on through the Brechfa Forest to Abergorlech and Brechfa where it turns south on its way down to join The Towy River at Nantgaredig near to Carmarthen.
The Mill holiday cottage is a luxury barn conversion.
The Byre holiday cottage is a single storey barn conversion.
