Cwrt-y-Cadno (The Fox Court) village in Carmarthenshire is on a back road, off the A842 between Lampeter and Llanwrda. Once an important crossroads on the route of the drovers from Ceredigion to market Smithfield in England. Cattle were shod to protect their hooves, and water and pasture available for the herd.
