We have a good crop this year and they taste delicious.

These grow well in our rocky well drained soil.

Meadow Crane’s-bill (Geranium pratensa).

Our neighbour Karen gave me some a year or two ago and it certainly grows and spreads well!

Purple Toadflax (Linaria Purpurea)

Common Toadflax (Linaria Vulgaris) which has yellow and orange flowers is the UK wildflower. The purple version is of Italian and southern Europe origin.

Red Campion (Silene Dioica)

It likes hedgerows and grassy banks and is said to be common, but then again, many good things are in life as well as wild and free!

Neighbour Alan brough us the purple one from a north Wales slate quarry slag heap where they grow wild
