Yesterday’s photo was Identified Jacqui Kedward. It was of course a Bluebell (Hyacinththoides non-scripta).
My Collins guidebook says it forms extensive and continuous carpets on woodland floors. Ours seems to slowly but surely doing just that as we weed out competition from the brambles.
