Rheidol Valley walk 4 miles 2.5 hours
A great walk though fine woodlands and rural farmland. A climb up from the Rheidol Valley along the top and down again. There are some wonderful views of the over Rheidol particularly from the site of the Iron Age Fort at Castell Bwa- drain. If you time it right, you can see the Vale of Rheidol train steaming along the other side of the valley.
Directions for the walk are lengthy and detailed in the Kittiwake book Walks around Aberystwyth and Cwm Rheidol you are welcome to borrow our copy there are lots of great walks in it.
