If you like unspoilt forest landscapes, this is the place for you.

Brechfa Forest is the 18,000 acre wedge of ancient and managed forest originally planted with conifers, progressively the forest is being replanted with native mixed woodland trees.

There is open access along forest roads for walkers, cyclists and horse-riders.

Brechfa Forest managed by Natural Resources Wales for the benefit of people, wildlife and timber production.

Waymarked walks and mountain bike trails are easily accessed at Abergorlech and Byrgwm where there are car parks and picnic facilities. There are also way marked walks at Keepers & Gwarallt car parks and 2 further car parks at Tower and Sifigwm.
