The beach can be windy and is popular for surfing, wind surfing & kite surfing.
The estuary is also sandy and it is sheltered behind the dunes and has fine views across the estuary to Aberdovey and Snowdoniaâs mountains.
Parking is cheap (free out of season) on the Dovey estuary beach.
