Dog Friendly Information A National Trust beach, dogs are prohibited from the beach between the 1st May and 30th September. But dogs are welcome along the woodland and coastal paths.

Penbryn Beach near New Quay

Penbryn is an unspoilt, rural, sandy beach managed by the National Trust.

It is almost a mile in length, and there is vast expenses of golden sands to enjoy at low tide.

Penbryn Beach is a great location for star gazing and barn owls are often seen at dusk.

The pay and display car park, shop/café and toilets are about 500 metres from the beach along an access road.

The alternative scenic way to the beach is a path with steep steps in places through the woods alongside a tumbling stream. The path can also be used to visit the nearby church and the Ceredigion Coastal path either south to Tresaith or north to Llangrannog.
