St. Michael Church, Penbryn, Cardigan Bay

St Michaels Church Penbryn . The church is ancient but it seems it is unknown quite how old it certainly dates from the 12th century, or earlier and is grade 1 listed.

It stands above the settlement and beach of Penbryn a popular, National Trust owned, stretch of the coast

It is in a beautiful spot and has excellent views across Cardigan Bay.

The church, is usually open so you can a look around inside. There is an honesty box car park on the opposite side of the lane.

On the left of the church gate down the hill and after a few yards there is a gate on our left and across the field to another gate into the national Trust woodlands and signs for the coastal path, National Trust café or the beach.
