Memphis & Cyan chilling out in West Wales

Hello we are Memphis & Cyan and we visited Stallion Valley in June 2016 along with 8 adults so we stayed in 2 cottages The Mill & The Byre.  We have so many wonderful photos and memories it's hard to choose!

This first photo is of us in The Mill garden when we first arrived Memphis on the right and Cyan on the left.  We Huskies are renowned for being escape artists and we dig and jump, but we couldn’t find a way out of the garden so gave up and decided to play with our tiger instead.

When we got bored of that, Memphis, the vain one decided to pose for the camera by the rockery and Cyan decided to call across to the black cattle in the field the other side of the fence.

Eventually those big black welsh beasts ambled across for a chat. They said they liked us much better than that yappie Hamish the local resident! They said that, apart from Hamish, West Wales is much quieter than East Sussex and they had never seen a traffic jam! They also told us about the local area, the fantastic woodland walk and the beautiful park in Llandysul , the local village.  The Teifi River runs through the park and it was great for a little paddle.

We had some great days out, there are lots of dog friendly beaches and we really enjoyed practicing our digging on Tresaith Beach  and taking dad for a paddle in the sea.

We also visited Cilgerran Castle  . It is perched on top of the George above the River Teifi near Cardigan and we met a real Welsh Knight. He was dressed in tatty twigs, none of that expensive shining armour here in Wales.

So perhaps, whilst some of you damsels in distress might be disappointed, overall we think Stallion Valley is a fabulous home from home.

We have told all our friends and family how wonderful it is staying at there and hopefully we will return in the future.
