On lead dog walking is possible in the overflow car park

Just off the M4 at junction 36 about 80 minutes from Stallion Valley, this is a good stop off for a bit of retail therapy, lunch, toilets, dog walk and groceries (Sainsbury’s) and fuel.

After leaving the motorway, at the roundabouts ignore the shops sign and follow the signs to Bridgend. At the second roundabout about 200-300 yards from the motorway take the exit for the shops overflow car park (2nd exit?).

This car park provides easy access to the shops via a flight of steps and is much less busy which means it is more convenient for a quick dog walk.

We like the outdoor clothes shops there are lots to choose from Berghaus, Tog 24, Mountain Warehouse etc. There are lots of others brands M&S, Gap etc. plus Starbucks, Costa and fast food.

On your way out you can get groceries and food at Sainsbury's.
