Cwtch provides a warm welcome a resting place and Teas, Coffees, Home cooked food made with quality fresh ingredients. Organic, Ethical and Gluten-Free groceries, Gifts and Crafts produced by local people.

Cwtch is a Welsh word for an affectionate hug or cuddle. There's no literal English translation, but its nearest equivalent is "safe place". So if you give someone a cwtch, you're giving them a "safe place". It can also be used as a place to store things safely (usually a cupboard under a staircase)

Pont Rhyd-y-Groes is a small village on the B4343 north of Tregaron. The village sits on the south bank adjacent to the bridge over the Ystwyth River. Its name comes from pont (bridge) rhyd (ford) groes (cross or junction).

As you enter the village from the south there is a lay by and information board.  Further along the road to the north is a turn sharp left before the bridge over the Ystwyth River.  A few yards after this turn is an old working water mill wheel and information board.
