Some of our guests told us about this wonderful place.  It is featured in a book called the Powerful Places in Wales (Elyn Aviva & Gary White) which describes places that evoke powerful feelings. This is definitely a place that has a sense of peace, life and joy.

From the carpark it is a short walk, about 15 minutes alongside the river and through the woods to the waterfall, go straight on when the path forks left.  There is a network of paths that you can meander through at your leisure.

Dogs are welcome and can be let off lead, but there may be sheep and wildlife about so please keep them under control and avoid fouling of footpaths.

The car park is on the right hand side if you come from Abercych, beside the Dulas River.  The entrance to the woods is at the top of the car park.  The Dulas has a small dam or weir you can see below the path which creates a small lake upstream, the path is wide and easy and leads directly to the waterfall if you go straight on all the way. 

You can have a paddle in the river if you bring your wellies or if you do not mind getting your feet or paws wet! The scramble up the bank to view the waterfall from above is worth the effort if you have a head for heights.
