In Talley village, opposite the entrance St Michael & All Angels Church and next to the Abbey ruins.
The forest and mountain walks are on land managed by the village committee.
The views from the top to be enjoyed sitting on the picnic bench, you can see to Abergorlech in the south west right round to the Brecon Beacon in the far west.
Recent thinning work by the Forestry Commission has been completed and all signposted routes are free to roam.
