The Ystwyth Trail follows the river Ystwyth inland from Aberystwyth to Tregaron, partly following the old Carmarthen to Aberystwyth railway line.
Experienced cyclists can follow the entirere 20 mile route while sections offer easy cycling for families.
Well signposted, the trail covers both flat terrain on the Ystwyth Valley floor, and some wooded terrain on the sides of the valley taking in the wonderful countryside. Although the trail is suitable for road bikes, there are some off road sections.
