“ Hi Mick and Julie, Thanks again for a lovely stay as usual! Here are a few words about the riding centre and photo of Molly with Cariad! The whole family (Paul, Mel, Alex & Molly) wanted to go horseriding during our stay at Stallion Valley in February 2017 and, on Mick's recommendation, we went to Starlight Riding Centre just outside Newcastle Emlyn. We decided to book an hour long lesson in the indoor school as an introduction to riding for Paul, Alex and Molly and a refresher for Mel! We arrived to a very warm welcome from Nicola and the team, who got us kitted out and introduced us to our horses. Mel is an experienced rider and was lucky enough to have the chance to ride Georgia - a beautiful chestnut mare and retired dressage horse - who was a joy to ride. Mel hadn't ridden for a few years and Georgia soon had her hooked again! Paul, Alex and Molly are all new to riding - they rode Harry, Bobby and Cariad - all gorgeous and well behaved horses who looked after them brilliantly and gave them loads of confidence to give rising trot a go! Each of the novice riders was on a leading rein led by one of the team, enabling them to focus on learning - and getting lots of top tips and advice along the way. We had a lovely time and all felt that we learnt a lot from the patient and knowledgeable team. It was great value for money too and the indoor school was perfect for our lesson. We really enjoyed our visit to Starlight Riding Centre and can't wait to go back again next time we're at Stallion Valley! See you soon, Mel, Paul, Alex & Molly :) ”
