There are no dog restrictions at Cwm Tydu but the beach may be closed in the autumn when seal pups are born on the beach

Cwm Tydu

Cwm Tydu is a rugged shingle cove to the south-west of New Quay, a stream runs down through the village and over the beach.

Seal pups are born here in the autumn when the beach is closed but you can view then from the car park.

There are lime kilns and some parking adjacent to the beach.

Cwm Tydu has coastal walks to via the Ceredigion Coastal path past stunning views and an iron age fort to a National Trust beach at Cwm Silio,

Toilets and café in the summer.

Cwm Tydu is signposted from the A487 coast road
