Gwbert Beach is included because whilst it’s not the best for building sand castles, you can drive onto it, which may be convenient for the less able. It is on the Northern bank of the River Teifi and there are good views across the estuary to Poppit Sands and Pembrokeshire. Refreshments are available from the boating club.

How to get there
From Cardigan follow the signs for Gwbert.
Follow this road a mile or two and before you get to Gwbert you will see The Teifi Boating Club on your left. Turn left at the access road, the beach is signposted. Take care at high tide, park at the top of the beach near the access road.
