Great dog walks but you may want to use a lead on the steep cliffs
North of Llangrannog is Ynys Lochtyn, a rocky peninsular, the silhouette of which is used as the icon for the Ceredigion Coastal path.
This beautiful peninsular and the steep sided hill above it the site of an ancient hill fort Pen y Badell are now owned by the National Trust.
There is said to be excellent snorkeling around the Ynys Lochtyn peninsular. The cliffs above are a hotspot for Cardigan Bay bottlenose dolphin sightings. The views across Cardigan bay are stunning on a clear day.
To view take the Ceredigion Coastal footpath north from Llangrannog. Access is via the steps behind the Patio Café.
