Poppit sands is a huge sandy beach, on the southern bank of the River Teifi estuary and as such is in Pembrokeshire. It is easy to access just a few yards from the car park and has a café, toilets and lifeboat station.

From Cardigan follow the signs to St Dogmaels (south side of the estuary), follow the signs through the village and on along the estuary road to the pay and display car park near the life boat station.
