A Dolphin Spotting Boat Trip offers a fun, educational experience for all ages, sailing from New Quay in West Wales for over 65 years. Enjoy an unrivaled experience from start to finish.  Our boats sail exclusively within the Cardigan Bay Special Area of Conservation, home to hundreds of bottlenose dolphins. ‘Sea Watch Foundation’ ‘Recommended Boat Operator’, our skippers are all WISE qualified ensuring your boat trip will be conducted in accordance with the marine code of conduct. 

The original New Quay Boat Trip, Winston Evans and family have been operating from New Quay for almost 70 years. Multiple vessels are now available, all with cushioned seating, some are part sheltered and WC are available on some boats. There is a choice between larger, multi passenger boats or the new Dreamcatcher, limited to twelve it is the only boat which offers a 360 degree view which you are free to walk around.

All skippers are experienced boat masters who know a thing or two about the local wildlife hotspots, together with their enthusiastic crew-guides they will tell you all they know about the local area. Data being gathered during your trip by the Sea Watch foundation adds to the Cardigan Bay monitoring project.

Wheelchair users are advised to call to book, dogs are welcome free of charge.
