Holiday cottage Wales - new chicks

Sadly a number of our established hens have died of old age during the winter.

 

Over the years our holiday cottage guests have enjoyed the eggs they produce "probably the best in Wales".

 

To maintain supplies our neighbour Ifan has supplied us with some chicks he has raised.  4 Marans, 3 hens and a cockeral & a pair of light sussex.

 

So in the not too distant future these new additions to our free range chicken flock we be fully trained and ready to produce extra eggs for visitors to our holiday cottages in rural Wales.
