St David's Day daffodil Spring is here, Holiday cottage Wales

We have been enjoying beautiful sunny weather for over a week now in West Wales.

It has been cold at times but there has not been a not a sign of rain!

The garden and wildlife are responding, red kites are noisy with mating calls overhead, and we are seeing spring flowers appearing.

We were excited to see our first daffodil open in time for St David's day (patron saint of Wales), March 1st.

Spring is in the air.
