A drive on the wild side (Cambrian Mountains)

I had to drive to Rhayader on Wednesday to attend a course on using Facebook for marketing. So I decided to take the road across the Cambrian Mountains from Tregaron to Beulah. It is the shortest route, and the most scenic, but not the quickest.

Tregaron is a 20 mile drive away from Stallion valley and our holiday cottages and it is here the mountain road starts. Very narrow very steep and very scenic. I met lots of sheep and only 2 other cars, farmers in Land Rovers, on my 1 hour drive to Beulah.

Welsh mountain scenery at its best, waterfalls, river crossings, red kites, forests, peace and quiet.

The course was interesting so watch out for more Facebook activity from Stallion Valley holiday cottages.
