Early spring chicks at holiday cottage in Wales
I had an incubator for Xmas and a book on hatching eggs.
So 21 days ago I loaded it with eggs from our holiday cottage free range chickens!
This morning I woke up to find 2 fluffy yellow chicks ..... magic!
So all day I have been sat still, egg watching, a rare event as our holiday cottage guests will testify usually I am never still!
So far we have 4 more a total of 6 chicks with 6 eggs yet to hatch.
I took some great photos,and as you can see they do not start off beautiful yellow and fluffy!
