Holiday cottage Wales: Birdwatching Cardigan Bay

 

Yesterday we set off for one the dog friendly beaches near out holiday cottages for a walk with our 3 dogs.

 

Along the way not far from Aberporth we saw the wonderful site of a big flock of birds roosting in the hedges and then performing wonderful aerial manoeuvres. At the time we thought they were starlings but when we got home we consulted our birdwatching book and it seems they might be fieldfares.
