Holiday cottage Wales: Dog friendly coastal walk

 

We had a lovely afternoon walking the dog friendly Ceredigion Coastal Path between Aberaeron and the Aberarth. 2 miles there and 2 back across an easy level stoney path.  Initially along the dog friendly beaches and then along the tops of cliffs providing elevated views across Cardigan Bay to Aberystwyth and North Wales beyond.

 

Aberarth is a picturesque small village with a tumbling stream.

 

Aberaeron is a charming Georgian harbour towns with shops, cafes pubs and restaurants to welcome you back from your walk.  We enjoyed a hot chocolate in The Hive bar/restaurant overlooking the harbour.
