Holiday cottage Wales bird watching. Swallows fly away Peter

 

Holiday cottage Wales, the swallow chicks have been learning to fly in the barn and are now zooming around our farmyard.

 

Pictured here in the holiday cottage barn are 3 chicks and mum or maybe dad?

 

Earlier on this blog we have mentioned birdwatching the nest and chicks.  Aside from swallows we had redstarts, tree creepers, wagtails, mallards and tufted ducks nesting.

 

Also resident nuthatches, woodpeckers, buzzards and red kites.
