Folly Farm celebrating daughter Sally's 30th

We had a really nice day out yesterday at Folly Farm in Pembrokeshire to celebrate daughter Sally’s 30 birthday.  Folly Farm is just an hour away from Stallion Valley holiday cottages.

We probably first took Sally and her sisters about 25 years ago when Folly Farm offered little more than a farm animal petting. Today it has an interesting zoo, with lots of outdoor play for the kids, a big wheel, diggers, and indoor activities including a vintage fun fair for cold and wet days.

Yesterday’s new attraction was the lions, last year’s penguins. Sally a zoo keeper herself (at Chester Zoo) had a special treat and was able to feed giraffes, lions, monkeys and tapirs. We enjoyed lunch at the café and losing our pocket money on the penny arcade.
