Plan B, a bonus walk in Wales

Yesterday we set off for a dog friendly off lead walk with our dogs, Charlie & Hamish to Long Woods near Lampeter, but they were closed for log felling.

Plan B, after consulting the map, was a walk along the River Teifi starting from the CO-OP car park in Lampeter followed by grocery shopping.

We had a nice relaxing walk along the river.  Here the river meanders through meadows as opposed to crashing down water falls as it does at Cenarth (see our last post).

A circular walk is possible back through the town but as Charlie & Hamish were enjoying an off lead dog friendly romp we retraced our steps.

On the drive home we decided plan B had worked out pretty well.  We had enjoyed a great walk and a bonus, shopping done for the week!
