Holiday cottage: Pond life in Wales

Another sunny afternoon in West Wales, so we enjoyed an afternoon walk down to the ponds.

The first dragonflies were about but so were our resident wildfowl families, the previously reported Canadian geese, now have a mallard and a tufted duck families for neighbours!

Birdwatchers visiting our holiday cottages are spoilt for choice with lots of woodland species, all sorts of common garden birds, swooping swallows and majestic buzzards and red kites.
