"Wales' most Dramatically situated Castle!"

Yesterday we had a really nice day out visiting one of the most spectacularly sited Welsh castles Carreg Cennen.

Located a few miles south-east of Llandeilo less than an hour from Stallion Valley holiday cottages.

Carreg Cennen Castle reviews claim it :-
 Has  "Spell-binding views"
 Was  "Voted Welsh building of the Millenium.”
 Is  "Wales' most Romantic Ruin"

We will not argue with that we really enjoyed our visit and have voted it our favourite of the dozen or so castles within an hours’ drive of our holiday cottages.

After our visit we headed for Llandeilo for a bit of shopping and lunch in one of their many excellent cafes.
