Is spring on its way? Daisy flowering.

I have just come back from one of our twice daily dog walks in the fields surrounding our holiday cottages.

Today a walked about a mile across 5 fields and spotted this lone daisy!

I haven’t seen a daisy for months, has anyone else?

I thought they only flowered in the summer, so I checked and according to

www.gardenorganic.org.uk

"Daisy flowers from March to October, sometimes all year through the year if winters are mild, but mainly from April to June.”

So I guess it may have been windy and it may have been wet. But this winter has been mild!
