All tidy after storms Holiday cottages Wales

Like the rest of Britain we have had a bit of severe weather in the last couple of weeks.

Living at the top of a hill has meant that flooding has not been a problem for Stallion Valley holiday cottages.

It is 20 minute drive to the sea, so crashing waves have not been a problem.

But with three cottages, 3 barns and three and half acres of grounds surrounded by trees has its moments in high winds.

We have lost a few trees and a few slates but all is back to normal. 

A few slates still need to be replaced on a barn roof and we plenty of logs to be prepared for our open log fires featured in the holiday cottages. 

The photo was work in progress this tree landed in The Mill holiday cottage garden.

It missed The holiday cottage, phew!

The fence is now repaired, the garden has been cleared and once again our cottages have secure enclosed children and dog friendly gardens.
