Holiday cottage Wales - free range eggs

Over the years our holiday cottage guests have enjoyed the eggs our free range chickens produce "probably the best in Wales".

Back in May we reported that to maintain supplies our neighbour Ifan has supplied us with some chicks he has raised including a cockerel so that we will be able to breed chicks of our own.

These new additions to our free range chicken flock have grown they will soon be ready to produce extra eggs for visitors to our holiday cottages in rural Wales.

He has recently learnt to "cock – a - doodle- do”, but do not worry the 3 foot thick cottage walls provide good sound insulation and he never crows until after we let him out of his hut at 8.30 in the morning.
