High winds are good for log fires

Like the rest of the UK here at Stallion valley holiday cottages we have had the odd drop of rain and high winds.

It can be a bit boring after a while but on the positive side fallen trees give us the chance to play lumberjacks and gather in some firewood.  Each holiday cottage has a log fire.

Thanks to son in law Jon & daughter Jane towing the log up the hill. Mick was doing all the hard work pressing the shoot button on the camera.
