Coastal path between Penbryn and Llangrannog
Monday 30th of December 2013 19:56
Like the rest of the Britain we have had plenty of rain and high winds during the Xmas holidays. So when we woke up to sunshine yesterday we got up and got out to do some coastal path walking.
We plan to walk the whole of the Ceredigion coastal path along with our dogs this year and to write up the walks for our holiday cottage guests on our holiday cottage website:-
link http://www.stallionvalley.com/west-wales/?cat=101 .
We walked the section of the coastal path between Penbryn National Trust beach and Llangrannog, only 2 miles each way but steep in places. The views were stunning and we reflected on how lucky we are to live in West Wales, probably the most beautiful place in the world. The dogs had a great time on the walk running free off lead and the steep bits made us feel as if we were working off the excess Xmas calories!
On the way back along our wonderful coastal walk we experienced some icing our cake… a rainbow of stunning beauty… something I think we will remember for ever.
Hopefully our holiday cottage guests will have similar memories of their visits to West Wales and Cardigan Bay walks
