Spring wildflowers blooming in West Wales

Spring wildflowers blooming in West Wales

They are late but it has been worth the wait. All around our West Wales holiday cottages the hedgerows have come back to life with a profusion of wildflowers.

Yesterday we took our dogs for a dog friendly, off lead, walk in the nearby woods. The footpaths were carpeted with bluebells.  The dogs had a great time.

Along our holiday cottage track, the wildflowers welcome our holilday cottage visitors as they arrive.  Pink, blue white, yellow, one of these days we will get out our wildflower book and identify them!  Then again perhaps our time is better spent just enjoying them.
