A day out for holiday cottage owners Cardigan Bay coast
Last Tuesday we went out on a coach trip with other holiday accommodation providers and tourist information centre staff on a day out to explore The Cardigan Bay coast from Aberaeron north to Ynyslas.
Our guides along the way were Liz Bickerton who has a project involving the promotion of The Ceredigion Coastal Path and Janet Baxter , a wildlife and landscape photographer living in Ceredigion.
We had a great day out and learnt a lot about the history, traditions of Cardigan Bay as well as the abundant wildlife and birds.
We had an excellent lunch at The National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth followed by a guided tour. The library is a wonderful building and has interesting exhibitions. Combine this with Aberystwyth’s castle, pier, promenade and Cliff Railway for an interesting and varied day out.
The photograph is taken from the top of the cliff railway and shows Aberyswyth’s promenade, pier castle and war memorial.
The Mill holiday cottage is a luxury barn conversion.
The Byre holiday cottage is a single storey barn conversion.
Stallion Valley has been designed to be properly dog friendly, and has a wide range of dog friendly facilties.
Our holiday cottages in West Wales are an ideal base for exploring The Teifi Valley, Cardigan Bay and Pembrokeshire.
