We have dogs of our own and this gives us a valuable insight into what dogs want and owners need.

Our dogs like walks, dog friendly beaches, places to play, run, swim, places to do their "business" and get muddy.

We like to let them do all of those, to keep them safe, have an enclosed garden and to be able to wash them down.

We also like dog friendly cottages with stone floors (heated), leather sofas and stair gates. Having these facilities means we are happy to welcome 2 or more dogs.

Each cottage has a securely fenced private garden

Dog friendly enclosed gardens

Each cottage has a securely fenced private garden. They are tried and tested by guest‘s pet dogs, small dogs have failed to get under or through the fences and larger dogs have yet to jump the minimum 1,2 metre top wire.  There is no barbed wire to injure your pet dog.

The exercise & play paddock

We have an enclosed mowed grass paddock exercise area.  We are surrounded by fields and there is access to a footpath network on your doorstep. We have maps and Xander & Charlie are happy to recommend their favourite dog walks or a swim in our ponds.

Dogs may be left unattended by arrangement

We recognise there are times when taking your pet with you can be problematical so dogs may be left unattended by arrangement.

A dog sitting service and outside kennel, The Dog House are available by arrangement.

We have a hosepipe, soap and dog towels if you need them!
