Stallion Valley a wild life haven ideal for bird watching

About Us

Hi, We are Julie and Mick Baross;we brought Cwm March in June 2002 from Fred the 79 year old owner who needed a home he could maintain more easily!

Since then we have been working hard to restore what remained of the original working farm back to its former glory.

In August 2004 we started letting The Farmhouse and over the next 5 years enjoyed welcoming our holiday guests to such a degree that we decided to converted our falling down barns into more cottages The Byre & The Mill. Work commenced Easter 2009 and was completed a year later.

We hope you will visit and share our enjoyment of the grade II listed buildings, ponds, woods, our pets and the local wildlife.

The pets are all friendly. Red the goat and Margh the sheep like to be fed your vegetable peelings. Xander our brown dog loves fetching balls or sticks for children and adults alike. Charlie the black dog loves to cuddle. Our Maran hens produce "probably the best eggs in the world" try a free sample on arrival.

Aside from the pets we encourage wildlife. We have been awarded the Green Dragon environmental award and are members of the Ceredigion Bio diversity Enhancement Scheme.
