Stallion Valley (the English translation of Cwm March) holiday cottages is a tranquil rural hideaway centrally located near Llandysul in West Wales. The holiday cottages are convenient for Cardigan Bay, a wide range of towns, villages, harbours, fishing ports. beaches, shops, pubs and restaurants.
The holiday cottages are less than 30 minutes away from New Quay, Aberaeron & other award winning West Wales beaches. Cardigan Bay and nearby Pembrokeshire have excellent dog friendly beaches.
Stallion Valley West Wales holiday cottages are a short walk away from The Gwarcefel Arms our local pub/restaurant that has a warm West Wales welcome for all.
Stallion Valley luxury holiday cottages are surrounded by fields and set in private grounds, 3.5 acres of mature woodland and ponds. Enjoy the local West Wales wildlife, red kites, woodpeckers, buzzards, nuthatches, bats and squirrels.
For the active there is lots of local walking, in addition to The Cerdigion Coastal path and the Teifi Trail. Play games in our dog friendly fenced paddock, have a BBQ, canoe on or have an open fire by our ponds.
Pets are welcome in the holiday cottages. We are dog friendly, gardens are securely fenced , and we have an enclosed exercise area. Other dog friendly facilities include, an outdoor "dog house" and a dog sitting service for guests who need to leave their dogs unattended.
Our 3 luxury holiday cottages are set in a historic West Wales farmyard. Each has a private garden and parking. Period features, open fires, exposed beams, slate, & wooden floors are enhanced with the modern conveniences of under floor heating, fully equipped kitchens, bathrooms with gallons of hot water, Freesat TV and broadband internet.
The Farmhouse holiday cottage sleeps 6. It was built in 1873 and was renovated in 2003. It is a listed building and is full of character. It has a separate lounge with open fire & television, a kitchen diner with 2nd television, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
The Byre holiday cottage, sleeps 4. It is a single storey barn conversion completed in 2009. It has no steps so is ideal for the less able. It has a luxury walk in shower and 2 bedrooms. The spacious lounge, diner & kitchen has french doors to the garden, a vaulted ceiling and wood burner.
The Mill holiday cottage, a barn conversion in 2009 sleeps 6 in 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 upstairs and one down. It has a downstairs bathroom and a luxury shower room up stairs. The spacious lounge diner & kitchen has french doors to the garden, and wood burner.
No smoking in the holiday cottages please.
